Why have Original Sahne Muh-Muhs Toffees actually attained such an iconic status over the decades? And all this without advertising? The secret behind this sweet success is our unique production.

Original Sahne Muh-Muhs Toffees are produced according to traditional methods. The ingredients: Fresh milk and cream, butter, sugar, glucose syrup and a little vanilla flavouring – lots of delicious things. Preservatives or colourings do not come into question. And besides that, our toffees are gluten-free.

All ingredients are first heated in special pressure vessels. When the right caramelisation point has been reached, the mass is then spread out onto large stainless steel tables, and cooled. As soon as the plates of toffee have completely cooled, they are first cut into long, thin strips and then cut into approx. 3 cm-long pieces.

The absolutely unique thing in this process is that the cutting is performed by hand. And so is the subsequent wrapping.

The reason for this: The toffee pieces are still extremely viscous in this state, so that machines would become utterly sticky within a very short time. However, exactly this unmistakable consistency and the artisanship ensure the unique taste of the Original Sahne Muh-Muhs Toffees and differentiate them from all automatically produced toffees.

By the way, our company is certified according to the "International Featured Standard". This means that independent institutes have confirmed the best-possible quality with regard to hygiene standards and  the guarantee of foodstuffs safety.
